Kaiping Diaolou Cultural Tourist Attraction
Located in the southwest of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Province and in the center of Kaiping City,Kaiping Diaolou Cultural Tourist Attraction covers a total area of 1438 mu (9,587,333 square meters) and is mostly known for the world cultural heritage sites that include Diaolou Cluster in Zili Village , Majianglong Village and the Li Garden-the Best of Overseas Chinese Garden in China.
It is rich in natural and human tourism resources of special characteristics, excellent environmental quality and abundant conserved historic heritages and traditional culture, including not only rivers, ancient trees, well-known wood species, farm fields, lotus ponds, but also traditional villages, diaolou, western-style cottages, private gardens, villas, and other ancient buildings. Blending perfectly into local natural environment, the traditional diaolou have formed their own unique characters.

Favored with a long history and profound cultural resources, Kaiping Diaolou is honored as “A Masterpiece of Overseas Chinese” and “A Stunning Architectural Art Gallery”. Since inscribed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in June,2007, Kaiping Diaolou and Villages have become a famous tourist attraction.
开元塔
Zili Village
Located in Tangkou Town of Kaiping City, Zili Village is one of the World Cultural Heritage sites.The fascinating natural environment is interspersed by pools, lotus ponds, rice paddies and grasslands, thus forming an interesting contrast with countless Diaolou buildings and Houses.
Li Garden
Li Garden is in Genghua Village, Tangkou Town, Kaiping City. It is a private garden built from 1926 to 1936 by Xie Weili, an overseas Chinese in the USA from the local place. Being a national key cultural heritage site, the area of it totals nearly 200,000㎡.
锦江里瑞石楼
开平市蚬冈镇锦江里的瑞石楼，是中西建筑风格完好结合的典型，也是开平现存最高、最美的碉楼，有“开平第一楼”之称。名镇称号，也是江门市唯一获此殊荣的乡镇
南楼纪念公园
南楼，因抗日七烈士的英勇杀敌事迹而名垂千古，成为后人驻足凭吊的胜景。1983年3月，开平县人民政府公布南楼为县文物保护单位。1999年3月，开平市人民政府筹资300多万元，在原址与建南楼纪念公园，增设纪念馆、雕像、牌楼等景致，把它建成风景迷人的旅游景点和爱国主义教育基地
